Nordette N. Adams is a published poet, fiction writer, and journalist. She grew up in New Orleans, moved away at 20, and returned in 2007. Her work appears in Nasty Women Poets: An Unapologetic Anthology of Subversive Verse, Rattle magazine's “Poets Respond” series, About Place Journal, Scalawag magazine, and the anthology On a Wednesday Night: Poems from the Creative Writing Workshop at the University of New Orleans.
