John Warner Smith has published two collections of poetry: Soul Be A Witness and A Mandala of Hands. His third collection, Spirits of the Gods, is forthcoming. Smith's poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prizeand for the Sundress Best of the Net Anthology. A Cave Canem Fellow, Smith earned his MFA in Creative Writing at the University of New Orleans.
