Darrell Bourque is a former Louisiana poet laureate and the recipient of the 2014 Louisiana Writer Award from the Louisiana Center for the Book in the State Library of Louisiana. Recent works include In Ordinary Light, New and Selected Poems and Megan's Guitar and Other Poems from Acadie. He is currently working on a chapbook, "Where I Waited," and a full-length work, Love Bridge.
