Imagining Lincoln: The Louisiana Poetry Project

Darrell Bourque was the Friends of the Humanities Endowed Professor at University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he taught English and Interdisciplinary Humanities. His latest book is The Blue Boat, and he has two books forthcoming: Call and Response (with Jack Bedell), 2009, and In Ordinary Light: New and Selected Poems, 2010. During 2007 and 2008 he served as the poet laureate of Louisiana.
