For 3rd-5th Grade Louisiana Young Readers' Choice Awards, participating students must:
Must read 3 or more titles on the ballot.
Must live in Louisiana.
Must be in grades 3-5 (or equivalent).
Students with special needs may participate regardless of their grade.
May vote only once and vote for only one book
Any student who reads every title on their Louisiana Readers’ Choice Nominated list can receive a certificate of achievement signed by the State Librarian.
Promotional materials, including posters, brochures, bookmarks, and seals for award books, are available free of charge while supplies last. Promotional materials may be ordered by downloading and filling out the LYRC Order Form or the LTRC Order Form and e-mailing the form to Megan Thomas, mthomas@slol.lib.la.us, or faxing to 225-342-3547.
