Elizabeth King is 21 years of age. Born and raised in New Orleans, she is a junior psychology major at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. She is the current President of Brainy Acts Poetry Society at NSU, and she won first prize in the 2013 Argus literary magazine student poetry contest.
