Though the eclipse will begin on the west coast (Lincoln Beach, Oregon: 9:05 am PDT), in Louisiana we will begin seeing its effect at approximately 11:45 am CDT (Central Daylight Time) in the most northwestern corner of our state.
Louisiana will see (approximately) a partial eclipse averaging 75% statewide.
