LOUISIANA POET LAUREATE ALISON PELEGRIN's most recent collection is Our Lady of Bewilderment (LSU Press 2022), winner of the Phillip H. McMath Award in poetry. The recipient of a Creative Writing Fellowship from the NEW and an ATLAS Grant from the Louisiana Board of Regents, she is Writer-in-Residence at Southeastern Louisiana University Her work has appeared in Bennington Review, The Missouri Review, The Southern Review, and as printable broadsides at Broadsided. In her role as Louisiana Poet Laureate, she is working to bring poetry to prisons, reentry programs, and organizations that support those impacted by incarceration.
