Emergency Preparedness Information: Parish Emergency Websites

GOHSEP works with local, State, Tribal and Federal authorities; private-sector partners; and private nonprofits (PNPs) so that we prepare for, prevent, respond to, recover from and mitigate against future emergencies and disasters.

NOAA Weather Radio - NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR) is a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office. 

A list of frequencies is on their page. NWR requires a special radio receiver or scanner capable of picking up the signal.
